We invite you to participate in the IV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference “SCIENCE AND METALLURGY”, which will be held on November 14-16, 2023 at the Institute of ferrous metallurgy named after Z. I. Nekrasova of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in full-time / part-time form.
Participation in the conference is free.

- iron and steel metallurgy: technologies, innovations, quality;
- electrometallurgy;
- technologies of non-baking processing of cast iron and steel;
- automation and modern methods of control of metallurgical processes and quality metallurgical products;
- metallurgy and heat treatment of steel;
- advanced technologies of metal processing by pressure;
- modeling and optimization of technological processes;
- ecological problems of ferrous metallurgy.
To participate in the conference, it is necessary to send by November 7, 2023 to
e-mail address of the conference office.isi@nas.gov.ua theses of the report, prepared in accordance with
requirements.

The abstracts of the reports will be published in the electronic collection of abstracts of the conference, which will be
posted on the website of the Institute www.isi.gov.ua with assignment of DOI to the collection.
At the request of the authors, extended versions of the reports will be published in the Collection
scientific works “Fundamental and applied problems of ferrous metallurgy” from
by DOI assignment (https://jrn.isi.gov.ua). The collection is included in category “B” of the list
professional scientific publications of Ukraine, in which the results can be published
dissertation works for obtaining the scientific degrees of Doctor of Science, Candidate of Science and
degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
Publication of articles in the collection is free.
Rules for drawing abstracts of reports
Volume: 0.5 – 1 sheet of A4 format without numbering.
Language: theses should be presented in two languages: Ukrainian and English.
Fields: mirror fields, inner – 2 cm, upper, lower, outer – 1.5 cm.
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt., normal.
Paragraph: indent – 1 cm, line spacing – 1, alignment – widthwise.
Abstracts should not contain figures and tables.
Teaching material:
UDK – left alignment,
the name of theses is bold, CAPITAL LETTERS;
authors – center alignment, bold font (if there are co-authors,
emphasize the speaker), degree; academic status,
the full name of the organization is bold, centered;
the main material of theses is a regular font.
References to literary sources must be drawn up in accordance with the requirements of DSTU 8302:2015.
