The NGO “Ukrainian Science Diaspora” is launching a new component of the “Science Diaspora for Ukraine” program: mentorship for science hubs. The launch is scheduled for November 2026.
The program supports research teams in Ukraine through collaboration with Ukrainian scientists and professionals working abroad. For three months, a science hub team will work alongside a mentor to pursue its specific goals.
These may include:
- developing international partnerships;
- preparing joint research and publications;
- preparing grant initiatives;
- identifying international opportunities;
- expanding professional networks.
Timeline
The mentorship program will take place in two waves:
Wave I: November 2026 – January 2027;
Wave II: February – April 2027.
Eligibility
Participation is open to research hubs established on the Ukrainian Scientific Diaspora platform. A science hub brings together researchers who share scientific interests, research topics, or a desire to develop joint projects. Each hub can showcase its team on the platform’s interactive map.
