“CURRENT PROBLEMS OF BOTANY AND ECOLOGY”

Dear colleagues, we invite you to take part in the International Conference of Young Scientists “Actual Problems of Botany and Ecology”, which will be held on September 27-30, 2023 in Ivano-Frankivsk at the Department of Biology and Ecology of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University .
Students, graduate students and young scientists conducting research in all fields of botany, mycology, dendrology, landscape architecture and ecology are invited to participate in the conference. Based on the materials of the conference, an electronic collection of theses of the participants’ reports will be published.

- Algology, bryology, lichenology and mycology
- Systematics and floristics of vascular plants
- Plant ecology and phytocenology
- Experimental botany and mycology
- Dendrology, introduction of plants and landscape architecture
- Assessment of the state of biosystems
The work of the international English-speaking section and excursions to the historical center of Ivano-Frankivsk and to the Carpathian National Natural Park are also planned as part of the conference.

RULES FOR PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS
The title of theses of the reports and the coordinates of the authors are given in Ukrainian and English. A short abstract (3-5 sentences) in English is mandatory. The main text of the reports is in English or Ukrainian. The text of theses is submitted in the text editor Microsoft Word (“.rtf” file type). The name of the file should correspond to the last name of the first author in Latin (for example, Stepanenko.rtf).
The total volume of theses (with information about the authors, title and abstract) – up to 2500 charactersc (with spaces). Page format – A4, all margins – 2.5 cm, Times New Roman font, 12 pt point, single spacing, indentation of the first line of the paragraph – 1.27 cm, paragraph alignment – by width .
Latin names of taxa and syntaxa are given in italics. Theses should not contain
transfers, tables, figures, graphs. Literary references in the text are given in round brackets, where
the names of the authors and the year of publication are indicated (Shevchenko, 2011), we draw your attention to the fact that the list
of literature is not given in theses.

The organizing committee of the conference reserves the right to edit theses and reject those that do not meet the specified requirements or the theme of the conference.
