From the beginning of 2023, the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in order to establish effective communication and exchange of ideas, started implementing a series of extended meetings with young scientists of branches and institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. On January 31, the first such meeting was held with representatives of the youth association of humanities researchers from the Institutes of the Department of Literature, Language and Art Studies.
During the meeting, problems and challenges faced by young scientists on the way to the implementation of both short- and long-term plans were discussed. Urgent issues regarding the provision of scientific activity under today’s difficult conditions were raised, attention was focused on the sad trend of decreasing the number of young scientists in the Academy. Also, during the meeting, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine talked about the work plans of the Council and shared their experience in the implementation of projects and initiatives. According to the results of the meeting, those important aspects that require a quick solution were highlighted, as well as communication chains were formed between the youth of the Department and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for effective communication and further cooperation.
The young scientists of the Department of Literature, Language and Art History are sincerely grateful to their colleagues from the Academy of Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the successfully implemented initiative aimed at forming a system platform to support the activities of young researchers of the Academy.
