„SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES OF BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION”
(Lviv, 18-19 October 2023)

DEAR COLLEAGUES!

Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Ecology of the Carpathians NAS of Ukraine invites you to participate in V (XVІ) International conference of young scientists „SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES OF BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION”.
During the conference it is planning to discuss the results of original research and theoretical generalizations of such areas:

1. Problems of biodiversity conservation;
2. Management of biodiversity on the protected areas;
3. Biomonitoring of the natural environment.

The conference foresees off-line, on-line participation (via Zoom) or materials publishing only.
The conference will be held on 18-19 October 2023. The students, PhD students and young scientists up to 35 years old are welcome to take part in the conference.
To participate in the conference you should sent the following materials by September 20:

1. Application form to the committee e-mail: iek.nanu@ukr.net (application form is attached).
2. The electronic version of the conference materials (file name – by the name of the first author, format – rtf) at the address given above. Information on receiving application and conference materials will be confirmed by the letter on your e-mail address within 2-3 working days from the time you have sent the materials. If you did not receive the confirmation, please, send materials once more. The author accepts responsibility for the contents of abstracts.

The second circular, the conference program and a link to the Zoom conference will be sent to all registered participants by October 17.

Registration fee – participation in the conference is free (an electronic version of the conference materials will be sent to all the participants)

SUBMISSION RULES

The report materials up to two (2) pages should be typed in Microsoft Word in Ukrainian or English. Page format A4, margins – 1,5 cm on all sides, font Times New Roman, size 14 pt, single spacing. Text without providing bold or italic, characters from font Symbol, without hyphens, figures, graphs, tables. If necessary you may use references to sources of information: literature reference must be enclosed in brackets, where you should point the author or title of the publication and the year. The list of literature sources is not attached. Also a short abstract (3-5 sentences) in English is required.

Conference languages: Ukrainian, Polish and English (for foreign participants).
