On April 6, 2026, a working meeting of representatives of the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine with the leadership of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine took place. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director for Scientific Work and International Cooperation of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine Tetyana Yaroshenko, Head of the Department of Scientometrics and Electronic Information Resources Olena Rachynska. The Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine was represented by the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine Oleksandr Kovalchuk, the Secretary of the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine Stepan Kyrylyuk, as well as the members of the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine Oleksandr Semko and Kateryna Vovk.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on key areas of their activities, outlined current challenges and discussed prospects for cooperation in the areas of scientometrics, scientific communication, open science and support for young researchers. The meeting was held in a warm, friendly and at the same time meaningful atmosphere. As a result of the discussion, an agreement was reached on the preparation and signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine and the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine, which should become the basis for further joint initiatives and projects.
